不求甚解[ bù qiú shèn jiě ]

⒈  原指读书只求理解精，不着眼于一字一句的解释，无贬义。

例好读书，不求甚解。——晋·陶渊明《五柳先生传》

⒉  现多指学习不认真，不求深入理解；也指了解情况不深入。

⒈  意谓读书只求领会要旨，不刻意在字句上花工夫。今多谓对待学习、工作不认真，不求深入理解。

⒈  读书著重理解义理，而不过度钻研字句上的解释。晋·陶渊明〈五柳先生传〉：「好读书，不求甚解。」后多指学习或工作的态度不认真，只求略懂皮毛而不深入理解。
